I took Emma to go look at the raging torrent that had become of our local creek.

Jen and the kids planted a pretty extensive garden in the back yard, which is just beginning to bear fruit. The kids are proud.

I know this is "just" an Easter picture, but I look at my little girl and know that someday she's going to meet some boy. As a good friend of mine once said, "I want them to be smart and ugly. I ended up with a double-dose of beautiful and smart... and now I'm just really freaking out for when they turn 16 and start dating." Amen, Vance Taylor.

Christopher and Emma decided to tape their mouths shut. It's well worth the wasted tape. :-)

A silly, silly Emma

Savannah is, without a doubt, Emma's baby. Emma will spend hours every day just patiently holding Savannah, keeping her calm and sleeping.

Emma and Christopher were so excited. Emma just couldn't stop smiling most of the time.

We read a great illustrated book called, "Dog Food" which makes dogs out of bananas, potatoes, lettuce, and other veggies. The kids love the book so much that we had to make our own.

It's pictures like this that make dads very, very, very worried about when she turns 16.

Our friends (The Merrills) threw a farewell party for us when we thought we would move to California. This is Emma on the swing in the back.
