With the road flooded and the street shut down, there was very little traffic on our street during the hurricane... well, there wasn't much traffic anywhere, really.

I remember playing with the water at my grandpa's house when I was a kid. Now my kids couldn't get enough of the sump pump.

Christopher found a fallen branch and carried around like an "umbrella" for a while. We all had so much fun.

I took each of the kids, one by one, to the creek to see the white water. Christopher was the first. Here, we are returning from our expedition.

Make a wish!

Christopher learned how to ride his bike after having practiced with limited training wheels for some time. He simply got on the big bike with no training wheels and started riding. We were so proud of him, but it was actually pretty anti-climactic.

So happy he can't keep his eyes open.

Christopher and Emma are almost inseparable most of the time, especially during the summer. They will often dress up together.

Everything about this picture says "hot," which pretty sums up how we all felt after the Memorial Day Parade.

Nutley invited the little league to march in the Memorial Day Parade, so Christopher and I marched. It was a lot of fun, but very hot.

No matter how hard I tried, this is about the most "normal" picture I could get of him in his little league outfit. With his future political career in mind, I decided to withhold some of the others...

Our big Kindergartner

We read a great illustrated book called, "Dog Food" which makes dogs out of bananas, potatoes, lettuce, and other veggies. The kids love the book so much that we had to make our own.

Looks like fun.
