I did not post my real name or email as I wanted to respond with no recourse. I am a psychologist in Arkansas. What frustrates me is that these organizations require this information from you or you cannot practice as a professional. Why in the world do they need my SSN and DOB. I already did a background check in order to practice in this state. I already provided enough references and documentation to make a book. Isn't it a federal law that to require SSN you have to have just cause? Bye the way, the email that was sent out to psychologists basically said "oops, our mistake...we recommend getting a credit check just in case." You don't need to be a smart criminal to steal credit in this country.
