I had seen wrote in his record misinformation about my medical history which was then trasmitted to MIB. This was totallly misconstrued extrapolated baloney which the office has since written a letter retracting.

OMG are you on target with concerns here.
I am getting old enough to be thinking about life insurnace so I applied. First I confirmed there was no MIB on file for me. I am very fit/etc. Then I had an insurance agent apply. WOW. What happened is an MD I had seen wrote in his record misinformation about my medical history which was then trasmitted to MIB. This was totallly misconstrued extrapolated baloney which the office has since written a letter retracting. But you should have seen what it did to my MIB! How can I be cleared of this? I am writing for follow up but am very concerned re this "never closed"database business. If the MD office retracts their misinfo is that sufficient? Their info is so not substantiated by years & years of a healthy medical history. I am furious of course. Any suggestions.

OMG,, thank you for your most informative post. After researching term
insurance plans and learning learning insurance lingo I discoverd
"MIB". You post has more information than the MIB's web site FAQ's and has given me pause to order my own record disclosure. One question,
does the MIB only deal with individually written insurances?

Thanks again!
